It’s been a while since I’ve sent out an email, so I’ll start by saying that I hope 2023 has been a good year for everyone or, at the very least, not too bad!
I have several things I need to update everyone on; most of which will affect all my clients, so please bear with me.
Firstly, to start off with an easy one, I am currently on standby for jury duty until the 1st September. If you’re a regular client and have seen me in the past month or so, you’ll know this already, but just a head’s up in case you have an appointment coming up in the near future. Yes, I tried getting out of it, and no, it didn’t work. ? As those of you who have been through the process before will know, I won’t be needed every day, but I’m updated on when I am needed at 5pm the day before I go in. I’m still keeping my diary fully booked during this time, but please be advised that I may have to reschedule appointments with very little notice.
Secondly, I have made the difficult decision to vacate my room at Browns Plains Goodlife gym as of the 30th October. I’ve been there four years and have met many of you through that location, but the cost of room hire and the growing requirement for me to provide mobile appointments has meant that it’s no longer practical or economical for me to continue there. I’d like to thank the staff at the gym for supporting me when I was starting out, and referring a lot of you to me. If you’d like to continue having appointments in your own home or office, I’m obviously more than happy to make future bookings.
Lastly, and this is the big one, I have recently changed to a new (and competent) accountant who has advised me that I should be adding GST to my prices, and that I should have been doing so for the last couple of years – something I wasn’t previously informed about. Unfortunately, this does mean that I’ve had to increase the prices for all mobile sessions. This will understandably be a cause for concern for a lot of you, which is why I’ve always resisted raising prices for as long as I’ve been able. To that end, I’ve made some adjustments to lessen the blow a little.

For clients within a 20km radius, the above prices will be the standard, and appointments outside of that radius will be subject to an additional $10 travel fee.
